THE SECRETS OFF THE HOUSE

 

Land house Angerhof was sold furnished (even a wing!), It felt as if the previous owners any time could come back.It was surprising what we all found.We were suprised every time we discovered something.

 

The attic was a large open space where furniture and equipment were stored.
Beautiful oak cabinets, I saw already the second-life they would become. Boxes filled with Christmas stuff! Curtains that were re-made and became place in an apartment again .

 

 

At the entrance is a fruit / presse of 1862.
According to an antique-freak the value is te same as a good mid-range car !

 

The living room is now a room for guests. Here was plenty to find. De shelfs were full of interesting old books.( William Shakespear) They have retained their places, and also determine the cozy atmosphere.

We found many keys, old, large and rusty keys.
 The cylindrical shape is of numbers and letters. We use them for the apartment entrance doors.One was so beautiful that we thougt it had to be from a safe . So far we have not found it yet.

After the war food was for sale with coupons. F.Franzmaier build the house so hy could grow it himself and use it for the Hotel.He had 10 cows and 1 hors.Later his son wanted the use the flat lane to use his private jet.

was the daughter of F.Franzmaier .

 

 

 

 

The previous owner was also owner of the Elizabeth Hotel.
The flowers from the Hotel grew on the driveway (200 meter) from the house.
The gardener made sure they were ready for the hotel.
During the construction of the house he used many building materials from old projects he worked/ renoveded.
There is also a clock tower on the house. Previously used for the servants to make clear that dinner was ready.

 

 

 

The previous owner used the house privately.There were already several badrooms.Old bathrooms ...... with hand-painted tiles.The look very much at the typical Dutch tiles.

 

In the 80the there has been a fire (by shorting) and 3 / 4 of the roof had to be replaced.We have all replaced electrical wiring during the first 3 years.

 

  
The basement had been used as a depot. Everything no longer used, was dumped there. So the most we still had to remove. There was also an rusty stove. According marcel this had no use anymore.But I had a different purpose.I wanted to use it as decoration in the garden. See the results yourself (photo)
So there were a lott of old stuff like cran/tap.These days we call it retro.Now you pay a capital for it.But we don't .... we use them again in the bathroom of apartment B.
