Cycling
In Gastein the Mountainbikers and cyclists are always kindly welcome. Special for you and your two-wheeled friends we have built special infrastructure. You can rent a bicycle in Badgastein, Bad Hofgastein as well as Dorfgastein. Everyone will find a favorable route to cycle. The routes for cyclist in Gasteinertal are family-friendly and very lovely. Discover together with children and\or friends the beautyfull landscape of the Gasteinertal valley. For real Mountainbikers and Uphill-fans with desire for mounatins this region offers the latest and the most diverse routes and training places. Along our routes you come across diverse alpine huts and alpine guest-houses where you can rest, enjoy meals, drinks and admire the magnificent views.

Walking
Right from the country-house you can take a lovely walk along the “Aache”. There you can also take various simple paths which lie a bit higher. Just think of the“Gasteiner Höhenweg”, a romantic path in the Angertal valley. And you can even walk «straight »in the on 1600m hight lying Sportgastein valley. You’ll enjoy walking there in winter as well. Besides, the paths are also very enthusiastically used for “Nordic Walking” which is very often practiced here. For those who’d better put on mountaineering boots there is a huge offer of walking routes here, from easy climbing to more difficult. Everything is very well fitted up with signposts. Everyone will find something to his liking.

Golf
From oure land house you’ll reach a 18-holes golf course almost in no time. The course lies very naturally at the foot of the Gasteiner mountains. A nice change between hilly and plain greens, old trees and small mounatin streems make the course very diverse for players of all levels. Paragliding and Hang-glider
Brilliant wind and very well-trained flight-instructors provide for you a flight-adventure on a vertiginous height. You can try this out alone or in a tandem. In clear weather the view over the Gasteinertal valley is absolutely captivating.

Tennis and Squash
For tennis and squash lovers there are as well enough opportunities.
We have 17 open areas and 4 tennis-courts. There is also a Squash hall with many facilities.
