The villages of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein are connected by the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area. Do you know that the longest descent (10.4 km) in SalzburgerLand is here? The Schlossalmbahn lift, which was renovated in 2018, is just 1.8 km away from our house. And the Gasti Snow Park in Angertal is the ideal practice slope for all beginners.

You can also make your descents on the Graukogel in the nature reserve in Bad Gastein.

The Sportgastein ski area brings you up to 2686 meters. Due to its ideal location, the slope quality is still very good even at high temperatures. Do you know that Sportgastein is one of the Freeride Hotspots of the Alps?

Dorfgastein, the first village in the valley, offers numerous slopes on the Fulseck mountain. You can ski up to Grossarl in the neighbouring valley over the tops of the Kreuzkogel.

Relax in the spa

From the slopes to the spa or the "Heilstollen". After an eventful day on the skis or snowshoes, what is more beneficial than relaxing the tired muscles in a warm bath? For hundreds of years, the healing and beneficial waters of the Gastein springs have been famous beyond national borders.

The temperature in the various corridors of the Heilstollen varies from 37.5 to 41.5 degrees and the humidity rises from 70% to almost 100%. The Heilstollen owes their medicinal effect to a natural dose of advice. The Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein, the Felsentherme in Bad Gastein of the valley are fed with the healing water.

While the parents relax in a warm bath or sauna in the spa, the children can enjoy the slides in the Family World.
